Thermal Printing of eBay BUYER RETURN labels
Hi,
I have a 4x6 thermal printer that I was hoping to print eBay return labels to. I am NOT a seller--just a buyer who sometimes has to return purchases and would like to print those return labels through the thermal printer. The eBay return labels print to a portion of an 8.5x11 sheet and I don't see a way to adjust this short of creating a PDF, cropping and rotating (which takes much more time). I know there is a label size option on the seller side but this is a buyer-side question. Ideas? Thanks!

·1 year agoI'm late to the party but I want to weigh in anyway... the 8.5x11 half-sheet label format is absolutely infuriating. I'll bet I've burned 30 Rollo labels tonight trying to print ONE return label on my 4x6 thermal printer. Acrobat, Word, Photoshop, cropping, rotating, portrait, landscape, NOTHING works. I bought my Rollo printer because, like the OP, I wanted a painless way to quickly print a return label once in a while. Think again, eh? After an hour or trying, I finally gave up and loaded an 8.5x11 label into the laser printer, and I'm STILL waiting for it to print.
eBay, give us a freaking choice of label formats, OK? Amazon return labels are one-click perfect. USPS labels, same. eBay return labels are just rubbish.

·3 years agoWhenever a buyer selects USPS first class International shipping instead of eBay International shipping It produces a label in the 8.5" by 11" format.
I simply rotate my phone screen and then zoom in to the top part of the page and then take a screenshot and crop. Then I open up that cropped screenshot in my gallery and print and it prints perfectly on a 4" by 6" label on my rollo.
I never get annoyed at having to do this. I'm assuming you probably don't have to return items THAT often. It only takes an extra minute or two.

·3 years agoYou might try this.
First make sure your browser is opening PDF files with Adobe.
Select the Landscape orientation.
Select Fit to Width or Scale as needed.
You may or may not have to check the box to use PDF page size.
Come back with results. This use to work, but changes have been made so if this doesn't I'll have to wait for a return to see what does.

·3 years ago@aaroneousmonk Sadly, they are not set up for that. It is super annoying! Whats crazy is that if you take the QR code label to the post office they can print it out on a 4x6 label. I have been doing that because I use a thermal printer for labels

·3 years agoI don’t believe the return labels are set up for that. I’ve never had to return anything.
If I’m incorrect someone will chime in.
