ordered a phone unlock service, the seller did not provide his services, does not respond to messages, does not return the money, I tried to return the money but ebay says that this is not a physical product and there is no money back guarantee, I left a bad review about the buyer but the review was deleted. now there will be a lot of such deceived buyers and I don’t know how to get my money back

·3 years agoContact your bank. If it's a Visa or Mastercard branded debit card you have 60 days of protection. Call the number on the back of the card, or log in to your bank's website, and make a dispute for a service not received.

You can phone your credit card company and request a chargeback. That's the only resource you have at this point.

·3 years agoIf you buy something in the category Specialty Services it says right on the listing Coverage: (Not eligible for eBay purchase protection programs.)
That means buy at your own risk. eBay will not protect you if you don't receive what you paid for.

Did the listing state that the buyer was going to send you some sort of key or code? If so, chances are the buyer was suspended, because you cannot sell codes, keys, or anything that is not tangible on Ebay. You might try to file an item not received claim and see if Ebay will honor it since there is a Money Back guarantee. Sorry for your experience.

OP3 years agoit was not stated in the ad that a code/key would be sent, tech support says that I should contact the seller, but the seller did not respond to any of my messages at all, tech support says that such services are not covered by a refund

·3 years agoIf it was listed under a service, CS was right, it's not covered by the MBG.

OP3 years agothere is no paypal transaction, when paying for the item, I chose the payment method in my eBay account with the card that was saved as one of the payment methods

I'm not familiar with whether your credit card issuer will cover this kind of transaction, but it's certainly worth a try. Just check your online account for how to file a dispute or call the number on the back of your card.
Good luck.

·3 years agoThis is not accurate, if a buyer uses their credit card via PayPal your statement is correct, if a buyer uses a credit card directly with eBay, PayPal no longer has any involvement at all, Adyen handles the credit card processing.
