The search engine is now useless
I'm just browsing and now I'm REALLY seeing that ebay promoted listing scam kicking in.
I always choose to see a list of the lowest priced items first so I can make my own decision about what I wanna see ..
However ebay seems to think they know better than me so they are showing me prices all over the board regardless of what I wanna see..
For example, I see a 1500$ laptop and some other laptops priced similar right there on top the list of laptops that are priced at 380 $.
Soo instead of the list going from 380$ all the way down to the next pages being higher prices, what I'm seeing is no matter what I set my results to be ebay is forcing me to look at promoted items first .
You really think I'm going to click and pay for an item I never wanted to see in the first place? It's gonna make me and other leave.
These people are dumber than a hammer.
Not only is the economy in the toilet, these ebay managers think we actually have the money like it grows in trees!
We don't wanna see your promoted prices. We wanna see what WE wanna see .. why even bother allowing us to even try to see the list of the items by price when ebay is manipulating the list? This is just stupid

This doesn't not mean I need to accept this nonsense from ebay.
What it does mean is, I'll be closing my account very soon. Then I'll be going back to the old ways..going into real stores in my town. And when I wanna sell things I'll do it some other way or just give it away. Because let's be honest , we are giving things away when a buyer opens a dispute . It's all about scams..and ebay is helping the scammers..

The prices on items I see on ebay are down right insulting.
The fees for sellers is just as insulting.
The scamming going on from both ebay itself via the fees and fees upon more fees and the buyers opening disputes is insanity.
I will literally be closing and requesting to shut this account down just as soon as I get this dispute closed. Because yes I do have a dispute about a buyer trying to steal my property via the ebay dispute process.
A scammer has attacked my items and wants free things.
eBay has helped this occur and I'm just not even going to bother thinking how to figure out new ways to avoid getting scammed on ebay. When there are YouTube vids explaining how to avoid scammers, it's time to leave. We shouldn't have to watch YouTube vids to learn how to somewhat alleviate the scamming that's been going on here for a long time now.
Btw I been on here at least 7 years.
So basically, I'll be gone from here soon..never coming back.
As for Amazon.
I am a member in Amazon.
They are doing some things right. eBay is doing everything wrong.
I will not be selling anything on Amazon but will be buying things on Amazon occasionally because Amazon sends me things in 2 days. eBay has this china seller reputation where everything on ebay is now from China even when they claim it's from USA. Shipping is weeks not days..
So I'm out.. there is not a thing..
Not one thing on ebay that I'll be using . Not one..there is no reason at all not one to stay here.
This is ebay's fault..
