    We are a tax exempt auto dealer with a tax Colorado State tax number.

    how do we get this tax deleted from our purchases?

    More than likely, you will not get you paid tax back.  The tax exemption  is valid from the date eBay approves your tax exempt status.

    You might want to report your post as you posted your tax number on a public forum.  Not sure how big a deal that is but in these times it might not be a good idea to display it for all to see.

    You have to register your business's tax number with ebay. The link below explains how to file as a buyer or as a seller.  Do not use the exempt status for personal purchases or the IRS may come knocking.

    Just a slight clarification though...it won't be the IRS...it will be the State authorities for the Cert holders State....
