Tarrifs/fees
I went to buy a dji goggle 3 from ebay and i saw this note said “ This item includes applicable import fees-you won't pay anything extra after checkout.†and so i went ti buy it, when i asked when will the package ship the seller told me “
Hi friend, sorry, the supplier is still on vacation and we need to wait until their vacation ends before we can send it to you. By the way, packages sent by express delivery require the recipient to pay customs duties. Can you accept this?†I was shocked because the payment went through and i completed the checkout already. The money was deducted from my bank account and now i am confused why and it said no extras after checkout. should i cancel the order or not?

There could be a couple of things going on here, but for us to best help you it would help if posted the ebay item number. You can find it in your Order Details under the item title. It is 12 digits long without any hyphens.

I've seen that note on listings that ship from China with SpeedPAK. According to Google AI, "Tariffs on SpeedPAK shipments from China are generally included in the shipping cost at the time of purchase, as sellers are required to use the Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) logistics service." So it appears that the seller now plans to ship by another method which would indeed generate tariffs. Switching carriers makes the item eligible as not as described. But opening that case would be problematic, as you'd have to pay the tariff, receive the item, then open the case. You can't just refuse delivery.
I would just ask the seller to cancel and hope they accept. If they don't, look at your purchase history for the last estimated delivery date. If the shipment has been delayed it's unlikely it will arrive by then. If it hasn't, on the day after the last estimated delivery date go back to your purchase history and click 'I didn't receive it' under More actions to open an item not received case and get a refund.

You are subject to custom duties upon delivery. So yes if you purchase items internationally expect to pay extra by the carrier. It is up to you if you want to cancel or not. I am assuming there was an extended estimated delivery time so if you are willing to wait and pay the extra duties then don't cancel. Keep in mind the seller doesn't have to accept your cancellation.
