Some companies have begun stockpiling supplies, namely appliances and computers (laptops, desktops, and monitors) for at least 3 to 4 months. If this persists, especially with China enacting the 34 percent tariff on all American goods, it will not look good.
Also, think about those who love playing video games. The current game and the console prices are going to go through the roof.
Credit where due, eBay is doing as best as they can to try to keep international users up to date - they've posted notices in all of the other community boards and are setting up dedicated help/faq pages for each region as well.

One thing that happened to me recently is that Canadian buyers are now going around the International Shipping consolidators and ordering. Shipping to Canada is expensive.
I had to add Canada to the list of countries I don't ship to.
There is so much uncertainty right now. The orange guy changes his mind from one day to the next. You could order an item with one tariff amount and by the time it arrives have a different tariff. How do you program that?

·1 year agoI stopped buying from international sellers long ago. Not due to tariffs and duty but customs clearance fees levied by some carriers.
