Hello,
I suddenly cannot see every item on a sellers page that I used to. I am in USA seller is in UK and has things set to ship to USA. seller has over 800 items I used to be able to see, suddenly I cannot on my account or my husbands. She checked on her end and they are still making sales to USA and her husband checked from a USA location and can view them all. We don’t know what’s going on. I notified the same thing happens with other sellers.. what is going on? Can anyone help me bc I can’t get through to eBay’s customer service any other way. @jelly_jelly_lady

What worries me if this is an attempt to prevent problematic shipments from reaching the GSP hub is that if the plushies are purchased, they may just end up dead-ending at the hub as unforwardable with the buyer refunded and the merchandise disposed of or liquidated. Please tag me if there are any further developments.

·4 months agoI just noticed there is a difference - when using a US location to view - an address with ebay.com will not show the items, but if checked from the same location, just with the difference being through ebay.co.uk link - it works fine.

OP4 months agoAhhhhh I will have to do that from now on. The other answer above I think explained why! If anything, I will have to try to make arrangements for a different shipping address if it comes to that.
I’m glad we figured it out!!!

·4 months agoI’m in Canada and I can see that the seller has 828 items for sale. I can also see that she is using the Global Shipping Program (UK version of eBay International Shipping) to forward items outside of the UK.
My semi-educated guess based on some Canadian sellers’ experiences with the Canadian version of eIS is that a lot of the sellers’ items are being flagged—wrongly or rightly—by eBay’s AI as being problematic for the GSP to handle for export to the US due to tariffs, duties, and other changes to US customs requirements for imports. Plush toys appear to be items that often get flagged by the AI, possibly due to the possibility of their materials having multiple points of manufacture or origin.
You may have to make your own forwarding arrangements to get some of this sellers’ items to you.

OP4 months agoOh wow! Thank you very much that’s so helpful. I had no idea that was happening. It makes perfect sense bc the Jellycats are what I am trying to see/buy! It’s weird when she sends me the link or an offer I can buy them so I bet you’re 100% right.
Thank you again, I Appreciate the answer!

"seller has over 800 items I used to be able to see, suddenly I cannot on my account".
I just did a search of the seller's username's items for sale and it returned 121 items listed. I opened one of their listings and clicked on other items for sale by seller and it too only returned 121 results. Maybe your seller has reduced the number of items they have listed so they have more time to enjoy summer activities.
They may have cut down on the number of items they are shipping to the U.S. because of the increase of postage costs due to air carrier's increased fuel costs caused by the closing of the Straits of Hormuz. Those increased fuel costs may be affecting their buying power as well depending on the location of their suppliers.

OP4 months agoThank you but I have spoken with seller and she says all of her 800 items are still up for sale so that is not the case although a very good guess in other circumstances!
