"STREESTYLE" 10% off coupon doesn't work
I was looking to buy a men's jacket and the listing came up with a 10% off offer. Instructions were to enter the code STREETSTYLE on checkout. Did that, page said "coupon applied" but the amount due didn't change? Am I missing something???

·2 years agoThanks for the tag @wastingtime101 . I haven't heard of any issues with this coupon code (yet) and I picked an item at random from the sale page and was able to get it to apply.
@frisco_slim just a thought, when you say the amount due didn't change, do you mean it didn't change within the checkout screen after applying the coupon or it didn't change compared to the item price on the listing page?
If you were looking at just the price on the listing (no tax), then went to checkout and applied the coupon and you happen to live in a state with a sales tax rate ~10%....the total may not change much or at all once you add tax, shipping etc.
For example you can see in my screenshot since I was using a CA address, the sales tax was $22.03 and the discount was $23.50, making the total with discount $233.52 compared to just the listing price of $234.99.
A slight difference in sales tax rate or shipping and it's at least potentially possible the discount amount would basically just take care of the tax and/or shipping and the amount due would be the same as the item price on the listing, if that makes sense.
If that's not what is going on for you, if you can provide an item number and the zip code it would be shipping to, we may be able to help figure out what's happening.

·2 years agoI tested a non-AG item from the sale page 315131908238 and on the checkout page I was able to apply the coupon without issue.

OP2 years agoIt seems like my prospective purchase met all the conditions. Why would the discount be offered if the item was not eligible? And why would the 'coupon applied' box be checked if the coupon was rejected? Still confused...

·2 years agoDoes the item say Authenticity Guarantee on it?
Did you go beyond the cart to the checkout page to see if the coupon was reflected there (before submitting payment)? Sometimes discounts don't show in the cart but they do show on checkout page.

·2 years agoAlso going to tag in @valueaddedresource only because I have a vague memory of seeing her report a recent one of these focus category coupons having issues and maybe this is related (or maybe it's the same coupon).

OP2 years agoI went all the way to the PayPal 'Complete Purchase' stage but then bailed because the discount didn't show up in the final amount due.

OP2 years agoDidn't see the phrase "Authenticity Guarantee" in the listing, but there's also no mention of that phrase in the Terms & Conditions.
