Stop 'Live Event' emails
How do I stop getting those 'live event' emails from eBay? I have opted out of receiving all correspondence from eBay but these keep showing up everyday in my mailbox. I am not interested in this stuff at all.
Thanks all.

·4 months agoI'm curious, did you ever click on one of those Live ads? I ask because I check my Email every morning and haven't seen any ads for Live events etc.
It's bad enough when they appear on my homepage.........................

·4 months agoI agree. I have no interest in these live auctions. And it takes another step to sign into my "selling" acct and bypass the live auction. Gratefully, these live auctions last only a week or so. (But I'd still rather not see them)

OP4 months agoI just did the eBay help thing, asking them how to delete this spam. Here's a piece of that conversation with their 'agent' after it told me to cancel the spam under communication preferences:
I haven't bothered to read eBay's Policy on spam, but I would assume these live event emails (that promote stuff that I have zero interest in, nor ever have) would be considered spam. It's not so much the email frequency ... easy to delete.
Right after that, I asked them how to cancel my account and they directed me to their help site! They would rather lose a buyer than fix an annoying issue, and that's what really bugs me, even if it's only temporary.
I suggested they update their AI to include the fact that I am not interested in collecting stupidly expensive sports cards!
ETA: The spam I am getting today is for a live comic signing event TODAY in a city that is over 800 miles away! I need the 'Professor' and a Bricklin if I want to make it in time.
