Still Think EDD Is Useful?
Summary: grann-4629 purchased an item from a Canadian seller with an estimated delivery date (EDD) of September 23, but the date has passed without receiving the item. The seller's location details have changed suspiciously, and more negative reviews have appeared. When checking the order details now, the EDD has been updated to November 4. sdneped and kensgiftshop provide guidance that the EDD shown in purchase history and order confirmation emails are the accurate references, not the updated listing date. The item is now out of stock, raising further concerns for grann-4629.
Bought an item from a seller in Canada on August 31 with an EDD last date Sept 23 which has come and gone.
I am also in Canada so even hand delivery would take less time.
Seller also changed their location to ",, Canada'. When I bought it, the seller's location was in Quebec.
Seller has received a few negs since order date, so being a bit suspicious I filed an INR that is pending. When I check the listing I bought from My Orders page, the EDD now reads Nov 4!
Who said the EDD is important when almost 6 weeks can be added to the dates after an item has been purchased 馃槑

-- in your Order confirmation EMAIL from eBay
-- and on you ORDER DETAILS page under Purchases at eBay.

OP3 weeks agoWhen I purchased it, the latest delivery date was September 23 confirmed by eBay when I made my payment. When I looked at the listing for the item I bought yesterday, the latest delivery date is shown as November 4th. Which one is the right one ... the one I saw when I bought the item, or the one I see now when I revisit the listing? I bought it based on the listing that said September 23 ... when should I really expect to see it ... yesterday or sometime in November?
btw, the listing that has the revised shipping date now says the item is out-of-stock so the seller either didn't have it in the first place or shipped it to me via some other country .... maybe somewhere in Asia or ,, Canada as it now shows ... so I couldn't buy it again to prompt a new shipping date as suggested below (or above, wherever the forum decides to put it).
Weird ....
Thanks.

路3 weeks agoDon't look at the listings.
For your EDD, go to your purchase history.

OP3 weeks agoThanks ken ... that's where the Sept 23 date came from. I would not normally file an INR this close to the EDD, but I'm a bit suspicious on this one ... deletion of City on this listing, but still shown on seller's other listings, long delivery date ( 2 weeks past normal time for mail from PQ to MB) and poor feedback received in the past month.
Time will tell ... I will either get my item (preferred) or a refund.

路3 weeks agoExactly @grann-4629 that EDD in the listing for Nov 4 is ... if you bought it (again) today.
If you look at the listing tomorrow or next week, you'll see the EDD for that day.
