Standard Shipping from outside US (from Greece)
Hi,
I buy a device which costs $1,999.00 from a seller in Greece. The shipping cost is $85.
It says "Standard Shipping from outside US".
Do I need to pay any import duties when it comes into US?
Thanks

You can make purchases from most foreign countries and not pay Customs fees on items costing less than $800.00. So when the item arrives in the U.S. you will be responsible for paying duties on $1,100.00s of the item's cost. Use the link below to determine what Duties you will have to pay.

If you cannot pay the fees and the package has to be returned, you will not be able to recover the money you paid. Packages refused or not deliverable because of owed Customs fees are not covered by ebay's Money Back Guarantee. On the listing you should have seen a notice that said something like "Buyers are responsible for paying all customs fees".
