Something fishy is going on with OrangeConnex
I'm tired of the irrelevant direction of my topic in the chain discussions as gone. I can't delete my initial comment so I'm pulling all my comments. All my response windows will say: BLANK - nothing to add.

Co-Pilot is ChatGPT with a Microsoft Label.
Only one AI program was involved. You get the same result because you asked the same software, the same question.
Also, many of the same sources are used in training different AI software and often make the same errors because they are using inaccurate information found on the internet. Your very posts on this forum may cause future AI errors.

What part of:
"Not a good argument. AI feeds on itself, so it's a self-fulfilling prophecy. Which doesn't improve its accuracy."
do you not understand?

·11 months agoSince most people don’t post about situations with good outcomes, whatever AI chat bot you’ll ask will mostly know about the situations with negative outcomes.
Stop asking AI questions, that’s how so much misinformation is being spread these days and the kids start saying dinosaurs aren’t real and that there’s a drowned continent between Asia and America called Lemuria…

·11 months ago@jon-2795, that is not impossible at all.
OrangeConnex packages are being shipped from China. If your two packages were in the same container, then they would have to have the same tracking information. They don't scan each package individually, each container has a manifest, with all the individual packages listed on it. They scan the manifest, and all the packages in it get updated at the exact same time.
I see that you are registered in Canada. If the "local facility" is the first stop in Canada, or shortly after that, then they are being held up in customs, or delayed with Canada Post. The postal carriers rejected Canada Post's last offer (August 1, 2025) and there are currently a lot of delays as a result of work slow downs.
You have to be very critical and discriminating about accepting any information from AI. It is called "artificial idiocy", after all.
The "fake tracking number" scam does happen, but it is not confined to OrangeConnex. It seems to happen more often with the more mainstream carriers, actually.

No, Meta and Google, Cape Breton doesn't have its own time zone:

Any time several packages are being shipped inside a container, the container manifest scans are going to control the tracking results for all the packages. That's just how it works. Anyone who works in, or understands logistics knows that. There's a reason it's called Artificial Idiocy.

What kind of feedback for selling did each of those seller have? Where were those sellers registered? Was it a different location than the location the seller claimed to be shipping from in the listing? How long had the seller been selling similar items? Were the deals "too good to be true"?
In retrospect, was there anything about those sellers or those listings that you could identify that might allow you to avoid buying from such a seller in the future?

·11 months agoOne seller has 99% positive feedback with 66K items sold and 1.8K followers.
The other seller has 99.4% positive feedback with 44k items sold and 1.5K followers.
Neither of those sellers are typical fly-by-night scammers, then.
If those sellers are drop-shipping from multiple sources, they may have simply chosen the wrong drop-shipping outfit to work with for that particular item.
What country location is shown on each of those sellers' feedback pages? Different from the shipping location in their listings?

·11 months agoIf you are looking at the classic feedback page using a desktop browser, at the top there should be a "Memeber since [date] in [country]".
If you do not see that, try going to the seller's profile page (click on the seller username on one of the seller's listings) and from there select the "About" tab and you should see the registration location and date of registration.

Here is what I see when I view your Feedback page:
Note the "Member since May-27-24 in Canada" in the middle.
