Some Sellers Post False Tracking Numbers And Get Away With It. Never Receive Item.

I have lost my money on 2 Items I purchased in the last 3 months because the Sellers Posted a false Tracking Number to Ebay. The tracking numbers Indicated they were delivered to my Town but the Name and Address was Not mine. I have contacted Ebay both times and Appealed both times and Ebay sides with the Seller simply because it was delivered to my Town. USPS and UPS will Not provide me with any documentation because of Privacy since the Name on the Shipping Label was Not mine. Ebay requires th...

USPS will Not Provide me with the Info I need- The Seller or Actual Individual on the Ship Label ONLY can Receive this Info! Therefore, Ebay can/ should Request/ Require the Seller to Provide DETAILED Identification of the Tracking Number. BUT, Ebay Refuses to take this simple task and the Seller gets away with this Nasty Scam.

As long as the buyer has done a bit of checking to find out where the item was sent, and the seller refuses to help, the easiest way around this growing problem is to open an item not as described case.

In the unlikely event of being sent a return label simply send back exactly what was received. That would be nothing in an envelope.
