Sneaker authentication
I recently bought a pair of air jordans that eBay said were authentic. The tag is very different from the 25 other pairs I have. I called and was told that they stand by their authenticator. My opinion was to resell on ebay. What a joke. Now I question every AJ I bought from them.

·2 years agoThere is absolutely no restriction on selling over-the-counter test kits. The policy is easy to Google if you'd like to check things out before you post.

If the sneakers went through the eBay Authentication process then you have no more recourse here. You need to pursue a credit card dispute. Unfortunately one of the big flaws in all the eBay Authentication programs is their insistence that the authenticators are never wrong.

OP2 years agoJames thank you. You had me suspended by your report and hurt my family income. Do you enjoy hurting people you don't know who never did anything to you.

·2 years agoSince I've actually read the policy and viewed the listings, yes I'm sure. The kits aren't prescription, therefore are allowed. If you don't want to spend 30 seconds on Google, here's the link:

I'm not sure why the OP is saying he's suspended. His listings are all still up, including the ones for testing kits. But it's poor form to report listings when you don't know for sure they're against policy, particularly when it has absolutely nothing to do with the problem they came here with.

OP2 years agoThank you Kathie. I was suspended for 3 days and advised posted item is being taken down. I have no idea why he would research what I'm selling and report it to ebay. I was asking about sneakers. I guess he's just a miserable person. Karma will catch up to him.
