Since the last update I can’t ask for combined shipping
Hello everyone. Since the latest update, has anyone else had an issue with not being able to ask for combined shipping, and on top of it having only an hour to pay now? I sell on eBay as well and anyone who buys from me still has 7 days to pay so they can maximize their shipping. I buy a lot so this isn’t a couple times and every single time I buy more than 1 card from someone I can’t ask for combine shipping now.

eBay really made a mess out of things when they instituted Auto pay back in 2023 and did not tell sellers they had opted all sellers into it. Seller's were wondering why they couldn't send combined shipping invoices, and buyers were upset about being charged for full individual shipping for auction items and waiting for some sellers to refund the difference. It is still going on.

I just checked one of your auctions and got the popup message that says:
"By clicking Bid, you authorize eBay to bid up to your max bid and, if you win, charge your bid amount and related costs to your card or, paypal account". That means you have auto pay enabled and buyers may not be able to request a combined shipping invoice from you. You can still refund the shipping cost difference however. But it would be easier for you to enable receiving combined shipping requests and send combined shipping invoices.

First check your Buyer requirements to see if you see this under the 3 main requirements;
If that box is checked, uncheck it to be able to offer combined shipping invoice requests.

OP8 months agoI did not even realize this thank you for pointing that out to me. It’s weird because I have so many bought items in my waiting for payment section and they all have up to 7 days until autopay takes over.

I had that happen to me once...I got seller to complain to eBay and it stopped on their auctions.
eBay goes around testing this on their loyal 'subjects'.
It's looks like a clock dialing down to the second like in a time bomb...LOL
Combined shipping...hard to do that if it is International Sellers as usual.
Might be better to ask seller in an email if combine shipping is offered on their auctions even if sellers are domestic.
