Simply 6 Dog food
Do not purchase anything from seller for Simply 6 dog food. The person ripped me off for 2 bags of dog food. And worse yet E Bay won't refund me my money. I guess now trying to be patient and waiting to give benefit of doubt is enough to allow a person to be ripped off . I was new to E Bay at time of purchase and didn't realize their is a time frame to being screwed and ripped off from both the seller and E bay. E bay said they would refund my money only to then tell me it's too late for a refund. What a scam and shame on the seller and especially E Bay. I now confirm why I don't use ordering online. This was my first and last time I will use E Bay. I just want to inform and prevent everyday people like myself from getting scammed. Now I am reporting both of them to the Better Business Bureau. Buyer Beware!

·3 years agoWalmart is 90 days, which is far more generous than most online retailers. Amazon is 30 days, and if you miss it they'll tell you to go pound sand.

·3 years agoEBay's Money Back Guarantee is linked at the top of every listing. EBay can't visit every new member's home and explain it to them. There's a responsibility on the part of every member to acquaint themselves with it before they need it.
Even if the BBB had any teeth, they're only going to laugh at someone complaining that the company followed its own policies, which are readily available for anyone to read.

·3 years agoWell that's just wrong. I very distinctly remember ebay coming to my house and explaining the MBG
to me.
Course, I had a drink or 2 and after they left the back gate was left open and the dogs got out. And
the change was missing from the jar on my dresser.
But the MBG works.

Even the real people with real issues don't come back most times. You walk away
with no idea if they received any help or not.

·3 years ago@love_a_255 it's always a good idea to read up on policy, reputation, etc of any business entity you intend to do business with.
if that business is following their own policy and due to your own negligence of not reading that policy, the BBB will not side with you.
And yes, buyer beware, read policy b4 doing business.
u can open a paypal case or dispute the charge

·3 years agoNot taking advantage of the MBG is not the fault of eBay.
If you will read the MBG carefully, there is nowhere in it mentioning "trying to be patient" or "giving the benefit of the doubt".
eBay straight out tells buyers what to do if and when a transaction goes and also tells the buyer how long they have to do it.
What will be the reason you will use for your report to the BBB?

eBay's Money Back Guarantee allows up to 30 days after the expected delivery date to open a "not received" request and up to 30 days after receipt to open a "not as described" return request. Beyond those deadlines, you might contact your bank or card company to start a chargeback.
