Shop eBay Live, score a $100 coupon
Hello, I participated in the “Shop eBay Live, score a $100 coupon†promotion. I even placed 2 orders from the Ebay live section. It's been 14 days since the purchase but the coupon still hasn't arrived. I would like to know what is the problem? Has anyone received their coupon?

·11 months agoI'm getting frustrated with this issue. Does anyone know anyone who has had luck getting the corret coupon they were supposed to get with this offer from eBay?

·10 months agoStill nothing here either. I see somebody on Twitter saying they were told they had to do something else to qualify. No idea what or if they're a bot. Shocked more people aren't speaking up. I keep coming on here expecting more boards. Nada. At this point I'd even take a $10 coupon to compensate for my "loss." I mean I got the item and it's fine but I wouldn't have bought anything on Live if not for the promotion and at $10 they're still saving $90. (Although I assumed even if I got the coupon there would be a catch. "Spend $500 to get $100, Purchase at authorized vendors, not good on these categories, etc")

·11 months agoThe purchase had to be made via eBay Live. I don't remember if eBay Live items are returnable, but I imagine they are. The items that I purchased were only $10-15 so it's not worth the trouble of returning them. Also, it's not the seller's fault, it was eBay that was supposed to issue the coupon and, unfortunately, that has been the hardest part for whatever issue from their end.

Had to fix that last line. Issues like this would be a lot easier to resolve if there were an assigned case manager who could resolve matters like this quickly instead of leaving their customers hanging.

·1 year agoDid you end up getting the coupon? I am seeing many people on social media and other sites say they fulfilled all the requirements and never got their coupon. Same happened to me with eBay claiming the item was never purchased during a Live Event, so I sent them the recording of the Live stream along with the timestamp of when I clearly won the item. The rep that initially promised to resolve the issue and issue the coupons stopped responding after that. Many people are complaining that they never got their coupons.

OP1 year agoSame thing. I even placed two or three orders live during the promotion to make sure I was eligible to participate. And I didn't receive any coupons.

·1 year agoThat's unfortunate that they are not honoring their own promotion, definitely leaves a bad taste and not going to make me share with friends or family that they should try Live, I will point them to other platforms.

·11 months agoFor sure. This promotion should have been easy and seamless for those who were invited. Instead, I had to spend two hours talking to customer service about this issue. I'm surprised there been so little activity here about this issue.

·11 months agoIf you should have a case number, you should follow up. I was so frustrated with this promotion that I was going to quit but decided to call one more time today to try again because I had some free time. This should have been a seamless offer because just buying from the live stream once should have produced that coupon code automatically. The irony is that I've been getting emails for this promotion for several months - and got one just yesterday (!) - so I don't know what's going on. What could have been a great promotion has just been a long frustrating experience.

·11 months agoI do not have a case number. I tried talking to their Twitter customer service team because I thought screenshots was better than trying to explain. What gets me is the fact that it doesn't even seem like whoever thought up the promotion even talked to the employees because nobody knows much about it. I'm not shocked, corporations do this all the time, but you're right that this is frustrating. And it doesn't really give me faith in this company. Next time a promotion comes out I'm not gonna feel confident in it. I'm not holding out hope that they'll send these coupons out but I am trying to keep an eye on these discussions to see if anybody's persistence pays off.

The Coupon will be awarded within two weeks after the Qualifying purchase is completed. Once awarded, the Coupon will be visible in "My eBay.†eBay will also send an email with the Coupon.

I would imagine that the coupon would be sent to you in an ebay message and/or to the email you registered with ebay. It will most likely be a code you have to enter when checking out after winning an ebay live auction.
