There is a dealer who always rounds up his shipping charge.
For example. if his listing states the shipping charge is $25.65, at checkout it becomes $26.00. That bothers me.
He sells hundred and hundreds of tens each month. So it mounts up.

·2 weeks agoHow does that even happen? Are you sure you are not seeing your states delivery fee or something like that, Colorado charges the $.31 per order

The only things that bother me, are the things I let bother me. As for the seller selling hundreds and hundreds of tens each month - those buyers appear to not be bothered by it either.
Find another seller, life is too short.

·2 weeks agoWhy would anyone round up (or down) when no cash is involved? Rounding on cash transactions is used in Canada as we no longer use the penny.

Learn to add. You are going to pay the total of the item price, the shipping charge and sales tax. Consider that when you buy. Your disturbance about rounding is your mindset versus the seller's.

When you and a seller are using eBay properly, listing, selling, buying, and paying through eBay's systems, that simply cannot happen.

Either the seller or you, or both of you, might just be using eBay improperly.

·2 weeks agoI don't understand how can a seller round up a shipping charge? I thought when you list something the price/shipping (calculated or stated/taxes are set in stone and cannot be changed.

·2 weeks agoYou could ask the seller why am I being charged 35 cents more during check out and if there response isn't good enough then purchase the item from someone else.
