Please post the anonymized bidding history of either a member or a listing that you suspect is shilled. I'll respond with an example of what shill bidding looks like.
As @mudshark61369 pointed out, what sometimes may look (to inexperienced eyes) as shilling is not shilling.

@jimmys44,

You have no proof that you were the victim of shill bidding, on ebay, because after 90 days the bid history and details of those listings were removed from the site.
Often, what even some longtime members think is shill bidding, is not what happened. There are a few things about bidding on ebay auctions, that appear to be the work of shills, but are not. Newer members who bid one increment at a time against an early automatic bid, or each other. They may also bid against an auto bid, uncover the max price of that bid, then retract their bid(s) if it is more than they are willing to pay. Doing that is a violation of ebay's invalid bid retraction policy, but it is not shill bidding. We can usually determine if possible shills were used on an auction, when we can see bid histories, but without access to one we and you have no way of knowing if that actually happened to you.
I do not know why you included PWCC in your topic, but they did file a suit against ebay in 2021 for being banned from listing on the site, because of allegations that some of their people were engaged in shill bidding on ebay auctions.
U must work for ebay..and ebay was part of it..I very been in touch w the lawyer in Oregon suing class action and I m a former paralegal.. I have my evidence bids amounts pics and more u know nothing.
So, because an experienced and long time eBay seller offered you help/advice that you did not want to accept, you decided that that person is an eBay employee?
FYI, eBay employees don't come here often, but when they do, they are identified as such.

And some of the members who volunteer answering questions here are practicing attorneys. So what? Knowing eBay policy trumps having a law degree.

As a former paralegal... have you ever taken the time to read ebay's user agreement?

Even the lowest echelons of the legal profession should know to have evidence before drawing conclusions.

Your focus needs to be on section 18.

Do you have evidence of the shilling?
Here is Ebay's policy regarding shilling:

What does PWCC have to do with eBay?
[eBay's User Agreement requires us to engage in arbitration ... rather than filing a lawsuit.]
