Seller with zero feedback
Just had a very negative experience with a seller who just opened an account and has zero feedback. Won a auction for a Xbox the guy eventually messages me saying he sold it already I asked for a refund and he stopped responding I would have cancelled right away had I know this, I will never trust a new account with zero feedback again. Has anyone else had this issue?

·2 years agoYou just purchased it on Oct. 11 so the EDD probably hasn't passed yet. Once you're past the delivery date, you can go to the order and click that you didn't receive it.
When the seller can't prove delivery, you can go back to the claim and ask ebay to step in.

·2 years agoYou did not receive what you ordered. If the last estimated delivery date has passed by more than a day, you can open an item not received case.
PLEASE read eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers which explains a buyer's options if/when a transaction goes wrong.

You are not what I would call an experienced ebay member, so there are a couple of things you need to know about buying from (0) feedback sellers.
1) Many if not most new and returning sellers (after a year of not selling) do not know that ebay will place a 21 day hold on their first few payments, because that info is buried several pages in on ebay's getting started info. Because they see their payment marked as Pending they do not ship or make excuses for not shipping. They also do not think there is a payment available for them to refund the buyer.
2) Many who have sold on site's like Craigs, Market Place, Let Go, think ebay is like those sites and it is OK to post items on other sites concurrently, not realizing the consequences of doing that on ebay. Where they have committed to sell when a buyer pays.
Your seller may have made up the excuse of having sold the system on another site, because of the held payment. To them they may think your questions about shipping and a refund are an attempt to scam them some how.
To possibly get the game system or at least a quicker refund, message your seller again and tell them if they did not ship or haven't refunded because the payment status is Pending, to do a Google search for "Payments on hold, ebay" If they do that they will at least find out how to refund you, if not complete the transaction.
Because new or returning sellers will often have many feedback and a 100% rating all for buying in the last year at least, it is just one reason why you should check the feedback profile page of any seller you intend to buy from, before bidding on or buying their items.
No, I’ve never had an issue like that. Did the seller refund you? If not this is what you do.
Look at the estimated dates of delivery in your order details. Wait until the day after the estimated delivery date passes. Click “I didn’t receive itâ€, ( you’ll find it in the drop down menu next to the item maybe under More Actions) follow the prompts. Your seller should respond to the case within 2 days. If not, on day 3 after opening the case you can return to it to ask eBay to step in for your refund.
