Seller stopped responding, trying to buy
Hi. Help! I'm trying to buy an item listed, a used part for a boat, and after a few messages the seller isn't responsive? Since the description was vague and he wasn't sure what model it came form of the manufacturer I asked if he would measure it. He said ok then cant get any responses?? Cant find the part elsewhere.....

My advice to (potential) buyers who have unresponsive sellers is to find another more responsive seller.
If the seller doesn't answer your questions before getting your money, why would you think they're going to be responsive after you receive it in the event of a problem?
Hit the "back" button.

·1 month agoI suspect the seller has not hidden his ignorance about this item, and you are asking questions he cannot answer.
He may have already added you to his blocked buyer list, so he will not even be notified of or receive your messages.

·1 month agoSome sellers have very little tolerance for buyers who send lots of questions. But then again there are many reasons why they might not respond. After all, it is the weekend and they may have activities planned not allowing them to get to answer.

This is a 'seller to buyer' website.
Maybe seller will 'measure' when he gets a chance, when he gets around to , when he finds a tape measure or gets back from his Caribbean Cruise.

·1 month agoYes, although the OP didn't specifically state this, his posting here was perhaps an attempt to find out if anyone here had suggestions as to another way to contact the seller. since this is something that he needs and hasn't been able to find elsewhere.
