Seller sent my item to another buyer with the same tracking number
The seller sold me and another buyer the same item with the same tracking number and tracking shows I received the item and it was delivered. It was delivered to the other customer, si it says I received. I did not receive the item, I am in VA. Yet because the seller used the same tracking number for the other buyer, he says mine was delivered. I did not receive and he will not respond. The other buyer received in Doncaster SY. Can anyone help me?

The seller sent your item to another country, It was delivered to an address in South Yorkshire, England. The FedEx Tracking info also shows that package was delivered on 5/12/23. Which I am assuming was before you even bought the item. It also shows that a package with the same tracking number was sent to VA on 6/28/23 and is a a FedEx location in Texas.
Your seller is trying to use the earlier tracking info to scam you. If the last estimated delivery date has not passed yet, you will have to wait until it does. In the mean time, go to a FedEx store, bring a copy of your Order Details page which has your address and the tracking number on it. If you used a mobile device to buy the item, bring that to show the clerk the info on the order details page.
You want to ask the clerk to check if a package with that tracking has in fact been dropped off at the Texas location, and if a tracking number can be used twice within 6 weeks. If there is nothing at the Texas office, or you are told a tracking number cannot be used twice in such a short period of time, ask the clerk to check the address on the newer number and the package size/type/weight, to see if it was appropriated for what you should be receiving.
If any of the info does not match up, and if the tracking number you received could not be used twice within 6 weeks, ask the clerk to write a note on FedEx stationary, saying those things in general. They cannot give out specific information about addresses, or package info. They should be able to write that the tracking number could not have been used twice though. Have them sign and date the note.
Once you have the note, you contact ebay through their Facebook or Twitter social media pages. (links below) You can write out what happened and what you found out, and add a CLEAR photo or a scan of the note to an appeal or message. Also add a screen shot like the one I took above of the tracking information showing the number was used twice. Use the links below to contact eBay through their Facebook or Twitter social media sites.
Write out what has happened, adding the seller's username, and the 12 digit (no hyphens) ebay item number. Add a clear photo or scan of the note, and add a screen shot of the tracking information. Sign the note giving your ebay username and your real name. The reps who handle those situations, know about the fake tracking scams. They should authorize a refund for you. Once you have posted the info. Leave appropriate feedback, saying the seller used a tracking number with a delivered scan, that was delivered in the U.K. before you even made the purchase. Do not call them a scammer or other names, and do not mention asking ebay for help in any way, otherwise the seller may be able to get it removed.

In the future I strongly suggest that you check the feedback profile pages of each seller you intend to buy from, before bidding on or buying their items. On the profile page if the seller has received neutral or negative feedback, click on the numbers of them to read only those comments. Never go by a feedback percentage alone.
