Seller rip off with wrong parts!

this is becoming more common on eBay. Note the year this product was sold to fit. It doesn’t fit 2023-2025 due to the change in body shape of the truck bed. I finally agreed to half my original price and absorb the other half just to keep the seller from having to pay shipping costs to return. The seller has refused to refund, respond, and EBay wants me to pay for the return of a product that clearly doesn’t fit. When I refused to pay the shipping price back to seller, neither seller or eBay will respond leaving me with the full amount paid for a product that doesn’t fit correctly. There are no guarantees anymore for the buyer on eBay. eBay claims they have tried to call and my phone is not working and goes to voicemail yet I have not received any calls or voicemail or email from eBay on this matter. Over 30yrs of buying power means nothing to the seller or eBay. This is the new norm and I’m frustrated with how I am treated. The seller has since changed the post to the correct year and model if it will even fit them. You are not protecting in any way buying here anymore. eBay has it figured out to protect the scammer.

·1 year agoIf it says in the listing it should fit those years and it doesn't, you need to open a not as described claim. The seller is forced to pay return shipping and refund in full. "Doesn't fit" is considered a remorse return (t-shirt doesn't fit) and the sender can refuse if they don't allow remorse returns. Even if they do, you're on the hook for the return shipping cost.
