Seller refuses to respond
I have been trying to ask the seller about an item that they are selling, but they will not answer me. I have been trying for over a month.

now it is long past the time to move on as pointed out by other responders
The seller is NOT going to respond to you
accept that and move on if you are unwilling to purchase the item without the seller communicating with you

·5 months agoSellers are not required to respond. That does not help make sales. I suggest you find a better seller or if it's not too expensive just buy it if you want it.

·5 months agoUnless the item you seek is very rare and hard to find I'd not buy from a seller that doesn't answer my enquiries (within reason).
If it was very rare and hard to find I might buy anyway. I have before and was pleased with the purchase.
If you can find it somewhere else take the hint that the seller doesn't value you as a prospective buyer and buy elsewhere......................

·5 months agoToo late now, the seller clearly is not interested in selling to you but before you communicate with a seller, you should carefully consider whether what you have to say will be received by the seller.
The ideal transaction online line is
At no point does the buyer send the seller a message. At no point does the seller send you a message, all communications are generated by the Ebay system.
Sometimes, the seller fails to provide enough information. You have to ask for more. Sometimes the seller does not know the answer. He may not respond.
Sometimes, you do not know enough about the item. Most sellers are not going to educate you.
Sometimes, you do not want to pay the asking price. A seller who has Make An Offer enabled on his listing, will consider your offer, or have it evaluated automatically. A seller who has not enabled make an offer, may not want to lower his price or communicate with you at all. He might even block you from buying his items.
Sometimes, you choose the wrong words when you communicate with a seller. Many sellers are not really retail oriented and will decide you are an <expletive>. Rather than tell you off, they might ignore you.

That makes that seller twice the idiot:
1. Doesn't know what s/he is selling,
2. Doesn't have the courtesy to reply.
Find a smarter seller who is interested in selling, not just some yahoo who is not interested and won't lift a finger to help them succeed.

If a seller isn't responsive before they make the sale, it's unlikely they'll be willing to help afterwards if there's a problem.
Hit the back button and don't buy from an unresponsive seller.

·5 months agoYou need to give up on that seller and find another seller to purchase your item from. Sellers are not required to answer you. If the seller doesn't respond to you now they will not respond to you after you purchased. So if there is any problems good luck cause they probably won't answer you. That's a red flag for you the buyer.
