Seller not refunding
I have purchased and paid $60 for an item, after the seller accepted my offer. They messaged me hours later saying they cannot sell it to me, because they sold it elsewhere already. I asked to be issued a refund but it has been 24 hours & they are now not replying to my messages.
How can I get ebay support or how should I go about getting a refund?

·2 years agoWas it a new seller? They are often clueless and take their first jump before learning how to put their parachute on. They may not know how to refund either. But, unlike jury duty it won't just go away. As stated, you will have to wait one day past the last given delivery date to file an item not received case.
Once refunded, you can also leave feedback. If it's a new seller then I would not and just let it go.

·2 years agoA seller can issue a refund. Might have to be a little patience.
If seller has no "available funds" seller would have to either pay through his banking or wait for this purchase to go into "available funds" to refund it back to you. It doesn't always mean the seller doesn't want to refund you but that there is nothing "maybe" in available funds yet to refund you. It is a little complicated if you are not a seller understandable. I think the seller will do the right thing when your transaction goes through.
As far as answering emails...could be seller took off for the week-end early early and might not return until Monday.

As @monica-sells states above, you will have to wait and file a Item Not Received case unless the seller refunds in the meantime.

·2 years agoIf the seller does not reply to your requests, unfortunately, i think you will have to wait for the "expected delivery date" to expire, and submit an Item Not Received request through your Purchase History interface. eBay will step in and force a refund of your costs....
24 hours for a part-time seller is not a lot of time, so be patient....
