Seller NOT accepting my bid which he emailed me &amp; said would accept

Seller's ad for stated: Buy for $125 or Make Offer ($106, $113, or $119). I made an offer of $106.46. Seller emailed me and stated that is a BUY @$125.00 ONLY! I emailed the seller and the ad did NOT state that was a BUY @ $125.00 item. Seller emailed me and stated that he/she would accept my offer. I offered $106.47 and waited for the acceptance. After a 2/3 hr wait, seller emailed me and stated (inside a RED Box) that the seller would NOT accept any offer from me. This is the 1st time a seller has done this to me. Please check my purchase history and I gave the sellers a positive rating ( accept for one seller who used the wrong shipper). I am NOT a Happy BUYER!

There is no requirement that a seller accept other than the asking price for an item, unless they have made an offer to you for a lower price.

Ebay is not a souk, although some sellers and buyers seem to not have done business anywhere else.

You have failed to understand how to read an Ebay listing.

The seller decided that you were not a desirable customer which is a common decision reached about some buyers who are not worth their effort.

The ideal Ebay transaction is, the buyer reads the listing, the buyer pays the price, the seller ships, the buyer receives the item. Anything other than this is going to be unacceptable to some sellers.
