Seller never sent my item.
I have tried for weeks now to get my item from the seller. I sent a request to Ebay, a request was open and then the seller changed the shipping info. From there, the item still has not been delivered, the seller won't communicate with me and Ebay won't let me take any more action because the seller changed the shipping. It is not past the money back guarantee and I can't communicate with anyone. What do I do?

Just escalate the case at the first opportunity.

OP2 years agoSo I checked my case page and there is no way to follow up on it. Because the seller added a tracking number that hasn't been shipped yet I can't contact Ebay about it. What can I do next?

·2 years agoIt is okay, go into the case page and it will give you a date to work it out with the seller by. If that date comes and goes , wait till next day, have ebay step in. they will refund unless the seller can prove the item was delivered to you by tracking. If the seller has put in a bogus delivery tracking number that shows as delivered but say to another state or city then appeal it and state the facts. Ebay is good about keeping sellers and buyers honest. Now I will warn all the thieves out their , ebay also sets up stings and the USPS does too. They will mess with tracking info just to catch a crook. I have seen it done and have been party to it when we had a postmaster out here robbing packages. If you are a seller make sure the package is scanned and you get a receipt as if it is not scanned it is not shipped.

what were the original dates?
Did you open an official 'not received' 1 day after the last estimated date?

OP2 years agoThe original delivery date is the 28th.
"I have tried to contact the seller and no response. Item hasn’t shipped yet. "
Here is a copy of the case history. The "tracking details they added" were just a tracking number that still hasn't been dropped off yet.

And when is "estimated date of delivery'? Is it coming from China or is it one of those "authenticity" items that take forever to get?

Updated tracking details are now available. You can contact the seller if you need more information.
That's all it says now in my request. It was supposed to arrive oct 28th. However, I assumed it would be a week after that due to the nature of the item I purchased. Seller just kept saying give me more time. Now I just don't hear anything back from them.

Forget eBay.
How did you pay?
If you used Paypal open an Item Not Recieved claim with them
You have 180 days frompayment to do this.
If the seller doesn't show Proof of Delivery (not shipping, delivery) you will be refunded.
If you didn't use PP, go to the credit card you paid with and open a chargeback. Most cards also allow 180 days from payment.
This is a straight forward Item Not Received dispute and eBay will cooperate with both PP and the bankcard.
BTW- this doesn't work with debit cards or gift cards. Never use either for online buying.
