Seller left me a false positive with a negative comment on an INAD return
I purchased a men's size cap which fit like a child's cap.
I returned the cap as INAD.
Seller sent return label, and I left positive FB for good customer service.
Seller has now left me negative FB couched as a positive.
I have reported this to eBay as a policy violation.
In the meantime, if I reply to Seller's false positive FB would that interfere with my policy violation report?

ETA: I reached out to the AskeBay account on X and got an immediate response. The FB was taken down immediately. It now just shows as a positive.

·1 year agoNo, it will not interfere. You should also request feedback removal which you can do by contacting customer service. I'm pretty sure you're already familiar with all the ways to contact CS.
Reporting the seller is not the same as requesting removal.
Edit to add: I looked at the listing. Here are a couple of tips to keep in mind when purchasing hats:
- Hats come in different sizes, always make sure the circumference is provided and if it isn't, ask for it.
- Those foam heads are smaller than the average human head. The hat looks small on the foam form. Because it's a structured cap (as opposed to a stretchy knit beanie), a Medium / OS adult-size hat should look a little too big for the foam form.
Because that hat looks small on the form we know it's probably an XS/S adult, or perhaps OS adult but shrunk.

I did suspect Seller washed and shrunk the cap.
