Seller item says "no returns" but it is "not as described" but I can't create a return
Purchased an item that was deleivered just today (4/1). When I got it it was missing a major cable that was not stated whether it was or was not included. Seller says "so sad too bad". So I start a not as described return (actually I chose: "Doesn't match description or photos").
Problem is, when I fill out the form and add 2 photos there is no button to SUBMIT the claim. What am I missing?
In 25+ years buying and selling on eBay this is the first NAD I have done so maybe I am missing something simple or does the fact it says "no returns" not even let me submit "Doesn't match description or photos." I asked seller to send me the missing part, or refund me the cost to buy it cheaply off ebay, or buy it off Amazon ($15) and ship it to me or send me a return label but he says I am "bullying him" for the money and won't do anything. He did offer for me to send it back AT MY EXPENSE which I don't want to do as I don't trust getting refunded.

"When I got it it was missing a major cable that was not stated whether it was or was not included".
Since the cable was not either shown in the photos or described as being included with the item, you should try starting a return using Missing Part or pieces. The problem with that is, if the seller points out that the cable was never shown or described as coming with the item, so ebay could close the dispute in the seller's favor. Especially, if the item was listed as pre-owned or used. If the item was listed as being New other, or open box, you would have a claim you could win.
In the future if you know what accessories should come with an item, but you do not see one in the photos or it is not described as coming with the item, you should message the seller and ask if it is included, before buying it.
If the cable is needed to make the item work, you should buy one immediately so you can test the item to make sure it functions.

OP2 years agoThank you all ... however the issue of my post was not so much that the cable was missing but that I was "physically" unable to transmit my filled out NAD form. The was no SUBMIT BUTTON ON MY SCREEN after fillling out the form.
Well, it turns out eBay must have been playing an "April Fools" joke on me. For some weird reason the COLOR of the submit button was not showing on my screen. By adjusting the MONITOR CONTRAST I was able to make it visible. It's a Samsung 32" monitor and have never had any problem like this before.
So bottom line, the "FORM SUBMISSION" issue has been resolved and now I have to see if eBay can help me with the product issue. This is my first NAD BUYING issue since I started with eBay 26 years ago so I will have to see how it works out from that prospective.

·2 years agoI recommend you directly contact eBay support or make a complain through email, they will be able to help you out considering that you are not at fault.
Hope that helps and best of luck.
