seller issues
bought from this the guy doesn't ship after 4 days I look into seller he has a lot of neg feedback on rolls of morgan dollar like I bought so I requested a refund and he refunded my payment less 20.52 for restocking something he never shipped I can't say he did what so many other buyers have claimed but if a seller keeps ripping buyers of it hurts all sellers especially those of us who sell the same type of products. shouldn't eBay put some kind of investigation on sellers with histories of misleading listings and other dishonest acts I have looked at some of the listings for silver eagles there are so many from China that are stating a .999 silver eagle then in description state silver plated this shouldn't be allowed bad sellers hurt the prices we sell for!

·1 year agoeBay's Money Back Guarantee, if used correctly, works very well.
First of all, you now realize that the time to read a seller's FB is BEFORE buying.
In your situation, all you needed to do was to await the arrival of your purchase. If it was not as described, you had 30 days to open a case.
Please review the MBG for yourself so that you will know what steps to take if/when a transaction goes wrong.

·1 year agoThe reason China counterfeits coins and stamps and everything else that they can get thier hands on is to undermine consumer confidence in US-based online selling platforms.
Temu and the other online Chinese marketplaces are all players to one degree or another in this scheme.
The real tragedy is that eBay is cozying up to China in ways that are, quite frankly, difficult to understand.
I expect one day to wake up and find all my 2000 listings hijacked and managed by some guy in Beijing.
It happened to American sellers on Amazon so many times that I lost count.

·1 year agoMany sellers are buying items on Temu and as USA sellers re-selling the items on other platforms including Amazon for much higher prices.
Always best to buy a reputable seller who has some feedbacks.
I understand we all started out with 0 feedback but some sellers will sell items with expensive price tags and I for one would never buy something for $50.00+ from someone with 0 feedback. Just me ranting.

The real lesson here is that the time to look into a seller is before you make a purchase, not after. You can report the seller for charging a restocking fee here. That may or may not get you the rest of your refund. What absolutely would have gotten you a full refund is to have let the item be delivered and opened a Not as Described return if it wasn't as described.

·1 year agoI would contact Ebay and appeal that. Get Ebay to step in and refund you the $20.52.

·1 year agoSeller isn't allowed to deduct a restocking fee, Ebay did away with that years ago.
