Seller is accusing me of being dishonest
I recently purchased a battery for my old Kodak camera. The current battery is working but I wanted a spare. I purchased what was listed as a new battery on eBay. The battery I was in a package that had been opened and resealed. I put the battery in my camera, and it would not charge. I opened a return on eBay stating the battery was defective and the package appeared to have been previously opened. Shortly after the return was initiated, the Seller sent me a nasty email accusing me of replacing the new battery with a dead battery. I am an eighteen-year member of eBay with a 100% rating for almost 1,000 items purchased. I am sure this will end in my escalating the case. I am thinking if I do that, the Seller will leave negative feedback for me even though I left positive feedback (mistakes happen) for the Seller. I really am offended that I am being accused of dishonesty and am not sure what to do.

·2 years agoYou are the buyer and thus cannot receive a negative. You deserve a battery that works. Don't get caught up in the drama.

·2 years agoI ordered a skirt with the length given as 32 inches. When it came, a badly hand sewn hem was on it which varied in measurment, so the skirt measured 30 inches in some places and 31 in others. I requested a return and was told it had been checked by two people and had the original hem and measured 32 inches. A day later, I was issued a return label. I really object to being called a liar, quote "The skirt was measured by two people at 32" and was checked thoroughly and was not hemmed. I would not have had a skirt and worn it if it had been the length you said as I have length 32"-33". Sorry for not believe that this was sent to you in this state as it was quality checked by two people for stitching around Sean's and hems and waist."
