Seller hasn’t shipped item
Bought an item and paid in full the same day, July 8, 2025. Here I am 5 months later, no item. Shipping date was august 14-18. Seller was initially communicative on eBay messages. Has since stopped replying to 3 months of polite messages from me. Seller claimed was looking for a shipper. No tracking number ever provided.
Have requested full refund from Seller, but Seller stopped replying.

·8 months agoALL buyers, as well as ALL sellers, need to make it their business to get acquainted with eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers, preferably BEFORE starting to buy or sell here.
And this message is the perfect example of the reason for that.
I only wish there was a way to make them more cognizant of that feature. It has the potential to significantly cut down on posts here from both buyers and sellers.

·8 months agoYour time for a refund has expired. As @kibble-net stated you are given 30 days. You now know your rights as a buyer. Don't wait months for something that should take weeks. Did you purchase this from someone internationally?

·8 months agoYou waited far too long. Should have opened a case within 30 days.
However, you're not SOL yet. You can file a chargeback with your credit card up to 180 days after the sale. I would do this immediately.

·8 months agoCredit card issuers are only legally required to accept disputes for two billing cycles after the bill on which the charge first appears, which equates to about 90 days. Many issuers do accept disputes for 6 months or more, but that's never a given.
