Seller greatly exaggerated dimensions of items to overcharge shipping
Hi,
A recent seller I bought from has greatly exaggerated the dimensions of the item when quoting shipping and creating a shipping label. The item I purchased was actually 24" by 5" by 2", but the label itself said 57" x 10" x 5". That's not even close.
What's the process to call out this bad seller so I can receive a partial shipping refund?
Thanks!

(This happened to me the other day when I sent a box that was 28" x 20" x 1"; USPS banged me extra for that 28" length.)
I don't think he's a bad seller. You agreed to the shipping that he had on the listing and I really don't see that you have anything to complain about.

The item itself may come in a 24" x 5" x 2" box, but the seller felt it needed more protection so they shipped it in a larger one. Still as the previous reply said, the shipping cost was given when you bought the item and when you clicked on Commit to buy, bid on an auction or sent an Offer, you agreed to the shipping cost.

·3 weeks agoI take it you didn't consider the overall cost (Including shipping) when you decided to buy.
There's no process to call out the seller. You can politely ask the seller but they can't be forced.
You agreed to the overall price. Don't forget that the seller also has packing materials and whatnot to cover............................
