Seller goes off line
I purchased a software from a seller that did all correspondence, product description, etc. via email and did not use eBay and after item ordered and paid for, it was delivered to the wrong address. Going back to the listing for details was no longer available as eBay removed the listing therefore removing all order details because seller broke eBay policies. Now the only contact with seller I had was an email address and after explaining I proved the item was delivered to the wrong address from my postal carrier and dispatch center, I requested a refund from the seller via email. I have received no reply and eBay help is useless. I set up a case but they couldn't help because they removed the listing and I no longer have order number.. I can't ID the seller any way I try so I'm at a monetary loss and can't even leave a negative feedback to warn other potential buyers. I wonder how many buyers the seller has already scamed?

When a listing is pulled by eBay the transaction would still be in your purchase history if the transaction took place on ebay.

You don't need to leave feedback to warn others, because the seller is Nolonger A Registered User (NARU)
I wonder how many buyers the seller has already scamed?
Most Experienced ebay users would have ceased communicating with the seller as soon as they sent an off ebay message to them, about the product or payment for a service. FYI. Services offered on ebay are not covered by ebay's Money Back Guarantee.

That's the quickest way.

·5 months agoYou lost all help and protection, from eBay, when you agreed to take the sale off eBay. Hopefully, it wasn't too expensive a lesson.
