Seller didn't dispatch or reply message
When I notice Seller didn't reply my message and also didn't dispatch the item I purchased , I request cancellation. Again seller didn't approve or reject my cancellation request. I can't ask Ebay to step in as the cancellation request is pending. How should I do next ?

You may be having trouble filing a dispute because you are currently logged in to ebay's U.S. based site (ebay.com) Your home site is the U.K. based one (ebay.co.uk). Log out of this site, and manually login to the U.K. one using your device's browser. Then report your issue on its Community. OR you can use the link below.
https://community.ebay.co.uk/
Before posting on the U.K. sites community, check the seller's feedback profile page. Your seller might have a fair number of feedback and a 100% rating, but all for buying not selling, in which case they may have run into the 21-30 day hold ebay places on the payments of all new sellers, and those who haven't sold anything in over a year.
They may not know how to deal with the hold. On their account your payment status is marked as Pending, so they do not think the funds are there. That could be why they are not responding to your messages. They may think you are trying to scam them some how. They may also think there aren't any funds to refund.
If you find that the seller is a new or returning one, try messaging them again and tell them if they haven't shipped because of the Pending status to do a Google search for. "Payments on Hold, ebay.uk ". If they do that they will get the info they need to complete the transaction.
FYI, Cancellations of transactions have to be agreed to by a seller, and they are not required to accept the request.

How long have you waited? Sometimes people expect instant responses when sellers are people too with obligations and you just need to be more patient.

OP1 year agoI bought item as it's one day delivery. I sent msg many times and no reply at all. It has been nearly 7 days already

·1 year agoAgain, if/when it's ONE DAY overdue per the estimated delivery date, you do not need to send a message. You do not need to keep posting here. You need to follow instructions given here and open an item not received case.

OP1 year agoIf you read my post carefully, I send cancellation request so all I see is "Cancellation pending" without option to report "item not receive"
Post and ask for help just in case someone stuck in same situation and have better solution than wait 3 days until cancellation request expired

You're protected by eBay's Money Back Guarantee. On the day after the last estimated delivery date, and for up to 30 days thereafter, go to the item in your purchase history and click 'I didn't receive it' under More actions to open a case.

OP1 year agoThanks Kathiec.
I understand that ebay introduces 30 days because they expected that buyer and seller would resolve issue on their own but for my case, it is obvious that seller didn't communicate or dispatch item. I expect that the immediate refund should be possible

·1 year agoIt doesn't work that way.
Sellers are not required to communicate with buyers.
Just because there's no tracking or communication from the seller doesn't meany they haven't shipped it yet.

OP1 year agoThanks and I get that. However, Seller ads one day delivery so I bought it. Usually seller will provide tracking id soon after I paid but for this case, nothing ! , no delivery. So I try to communicate but no reply.

·1 year agoYou have UP TO 30 days after the estimated delivery date to file for your money back. You can file on the first day after. But you do have to wait until then.
If you don't get a package or full refund from the seller by the time the estimated delivery date you were given when you paid has fully passed, go to your Purchase History for that item, click the link for more options and select that you haven't received the item, then follow instructions from there. If you haven't gotten the item as described or a full refund after 3 days (but before 21 days) from doing so go back and you should find a link to "Ask eBay to step in" to get your refund.

OP1 year agoThanks for advice. Because I request cancellation after I notice this purchase is unusual, seem I have to wait until cancellation request is expired. Today is 3rd day and will report this case further tomorrow.

·1 year agoThat 30 days refers to the length of time after the last estimated delivery date to open a case.
You actually can open an item not case when your purchase is only one day overdue, but less than 30 days.
At this time of year, and considering the USPS, I'd give it a day or two more. Then follow the procedure outlined by others. The MBG offers very good protection for buyers. Suggest you take the time to read it.
