Seller did not ship the item, what to do?
Hi, I was saving money for the figure and when I had it I bought it on ebay from seller from Japan. I got the message that he will ship in 10 business days. I waited and today marks the 10th business day and the seller still did not ship the item. He does not respond to my messages. What should I do? Can i open the case now? My estimated delivery is 7th of october. Thanks.

·11 months agoIf the estimated delivery date is October 7th, you cannot open an item not received case until October 8th.
There are many possibilities as to the reason you have not seen evidence that the item was shipped, but really no action you can take til the 8th.

You are registered as being located in Poland, but have posted your issue on ebay's U.S. based site's community (ebay.com). If you signed up to use ebay from one of their European sites, Germany, U.K. you should post your problem on that site's community. We here in the U.S. are not familiar with European the postal and customs systems or their fees.
It may be different in your country, but here in the U.S. "Business Days" are from Monday to Friday. Saturday, Sunday and national holidays are not considered to be "business" days.

·11 months agoNot every seller uses tracked shipping -- although we international sellers are required to by UPU rules.
And most,though not all, bulky packages, are tracked services.
Not all sellers buy labels through eBay, which means not all tracking numbers are automatically uploaded to the site.
A six day transit period from Japan, which involves customs clearance, seems .... optimistic.
On the 7th (next Tuesday) you can open an Item Not Received claim with eBay. The seller will be told to supply proof of delivery. If they can only provide proof of shipping, they may get a day or two leeway.
If they cannot prove Delivery, you will be refunded.
Be aware, that if/when the shipment arrives you will be paying duty, sales taxes and the Trump Tariff on the item or the shipper will not complete delivery.
Refusing to pay makes the shipment Undeliverable, and the seller will not be required to refund anything by eBay.
