Seller Delaying on return
I made a purchase and the seller deliberately sent something else. I have initiated a return, but almost a week later they sent me a label which required me to pay for return post (their responsibility in this case.)
I contacted them about this and several days later they said they'd look into it but almost a week later again, I have heard nothing from them, and only have a few days remaining before I am supposed to have posted it.
The eBay guidelines state that under the returns tab on the item I can make a request for them to step in and help, but there is nowhere there to do that.
What can I do please?

·2 years agoIf the lodgement isn't too tight (and you can work it loose) @namelessgarden you will of [sic] to get that sorted (in numerical order) or when the phone is engaged (to be married).
Instead leave a private message at this page for eBay, from anywhere in the world. Tell eBay that you need a prepaid return label for the not as described item. eBay will send a short link to confirm your identity, and then put the case on hold for 5 days. After that, if the seller didn't comply, you'll get a refund, no return needed.

·2 years agoIf they sent you a label requiring you to pay for return shipping, you opened the wrong type of case. If you received the wrong item, you need to open a NAD (not as described) case.

OP2 years agoThe case I opened was for Item Not as Described

·2 years agoIf that is what you selected as the reason for the return, the seller pays for the label, you just print it and stick on the package.

OP2 years agoThank you.
The label states that postage is payable though, so have they provided the incorrect label, or so I simply take it and get a lodgement receipt for tracking purposes?

OP2 years agoI have printed the label, which states Postage Required and taken it to the Post Office, where they scanned it, and it still came up as payable by me.
I'm at a total loss what to do with this. There's literally nowhere in my 'Returns' window to ask eBay to step in and help , and the FAQ just goes in circles.
The seller is totally unresponsive.
