Seller able to send something other than what ordered and what was pictured.
I purchased a 30 oz, (large) bottle of CNS hand and body lotion. The seller has 100 percent approval ratings. SO of course I bought it. I was sent 4 little bottles of the product. Not what I ordered and not what was and still is pictured in the sellers ad. And what a surprise. NO RETURNS and No ability to leave feedback which explains why his seller has 100 percent approval. Obviously Ebay must be in on it, as there is no way of any recourse.
This is outrageous. Everyone must be careful to not order anything from any seller who does not accept returns. I am going to do a social media blast on this about EBAY and about this seller.
How is this possible that someone gets away with lying? I thought EBAY was a reputable organization. And btw, everyone must know there is NO way to contact Ebay except for their **bleep** platforms which gets no one no where.

·8 months agoYou are buying from an individual seller not Ebay. Ebay is a selling platform. As a selling platform you have rights. You must file an "item not described" case against the seller within 30 days and return what you received. Print out the label. Once the seller receives the items back you would be issued a refund. If they don't then have Ebay step in. It's a smooth process. Also understand "no returns" doesn't mean you can't return if the item is not as described. So lets just settle down with the blaming and follow the return process. If you need help with filing a return let us know.

It never ceases to amaze me that members like yourself, on this site since 2004, remain oblivious to ebay's buyer protections. And yet you're ready to go on an internet crusade crying foul. If you calm down and take the advice given by @kensgiftshop and others, you'll see that a case for return/refund can be opened right from your purchase history - no need to talk to ebay or anyone else.

·8 months agoI'm going to look at this in a different light.
Was Seller in the wrong? Yes. By far in the wrong.
BUT, you did buy 30 OUNCES of CND hand and body lotion. A Large "Bottle" by your own description. Did you buy the product for the BOTTLE, or the hand and body lotion that was in the bottle?
Now, do those 4 "little bottles" add up to 30 ounces? Did Seller send 4 of the 8.3 OUNCE Bottles? If so, you're ahead of the game. If they just sent 4 of the little 2 ounce travel bottles, Yeah, there's a problem.
My bet, you just got 33.2 Ounces of the hand and body lotion that you only ordered 30 ounces of, right? Only issue is, you're just not looking at it that way.

You are way braver than I am buying anything online that one puts in or on your body other than from the official website or an authorized distributor.
I won't even buy such items for my "bitty bulldog" or my lawn/garden from strangers online.
Get your money back as others have instructed to do and maybe rethink.
Just my thoughts on online buying............................

·8 months agoAs others have mentioned, you are covered by the Money Back Guarantee. Ebay is very good about helping buyers who are not satisfied with the product.
But, have you tried to contact the seller and let them know you received the wrong item? It's not required that you contact them. But considering they have good feedback, they probably just made a mistake and accidentally sent you the wrong order.
Automatically assuming "Obviously Ebay must be in on it, as there is no way of any recourse" is way over the top when there are very simple procedures to fix little mess-ups like this.

·8 months agoYou clearly have not bought much on Ebay over the 20 years you have been an Ebay member. And certainly not recently when Ebay has made it easy to deal with problems caused by a problem seller.
Our good friend, @kensgiftshop has identified the simple way to deal with the problem which does not leave you waiting for a non-responsive seller.
Follow the proper procedure, and then you can tell your friends on social media so they will not be trapped in the world of 20 years ago.

Regarding 'reputation'... know that eBay's Money Back Guarantee is very reliable for buyers. Proceed exactly as Ken has outlined and you'll be made whole. Here's the long read, and a good read for buyers. >> eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

Go to your purchase history and click return item and select, the item doesn't match the description as the reason.
The seller will have 3 days to accept the return and pay return shipping or refund without returning.
If they don't, return to the case on day 4 and ask Ebay to step in.
