I have bought an item from *** I received the item it did not fit and function, right seller agreed to return it to get money back. With tracking number eBay knows the number and when seller receive item he did not pay me my money back $64.62 so I filed a claim with PayPal. They investigated it saying that I returned it from the tracking number they refused to give my money back, they let eBay and Paypal screw me out of my money. I’ve argued with him and argued with him. The reason why they didn’t give my money back because **** sells gun parts and Paypal does not allow that but eBay lets them sell gun parts. They sell thousands and thousands of gun parts but will not shut them down because eBay is making a lot of money from them but in return if the buyer has problems with the item they send it back you don’t get your money back so the buyer gets screwed out of their money eBay and PayPal makes their money I try to get my money back for over three weeks. Nothing they are crooks and will steal your money , so if anybody out there has free time contact eBay and tell them to shut Hooper gun Works down I don’t buy from these people

Your seller has a 100% rating, but did you check their feedback profile page? If not then you missed the fairly high number of neutral ratings the seller has. Clicking on the numbers of neutrals opens a page that shows only those comments. Most of those comments should have been negative feedback. Never go by feedback percentages alone.

·3 years agoAs stated by so many...You lost your eBay 30 day money back guarantee by leapfrogging over them and going directly to PayPal. You were told to contact your credit card company. There is nothing else that can be done.

You should have opened a return case through eBay, and then you use the return label provided in the case by the seller or eBay. The seller has 2 days to refund when tracking showed delivered. If the seller doesn't refund you have 10 days to return to the case and ask eBay for help to force the seller to refund. By involving PayPal you lost eBay MBG.
You seem upset that PayPal is allowing eBay to sell items that aren't covered by PayPal. If you don't know this PayPal doesn't dictate what sellers can sell.
By running to PayPal you lost eBay Protection. If you paid with a credit card try filing a chargeback with them.

·3 years agoIt's very unclear from your post exactly what happened. But here are a couple observations based on what I could glean from it: When you open a case anywhere else, in this case with Paypal, eBay closes the door on any cases you've filed or might file with them. They do this to eliminate the chance of double dipping. And while there are restrictions on what parts can be sold, the sale of gun parts on eBay is definitely allowed.
If you received something that's not as described you should always open a case and have the return go through eBay. Had you done that in this case, and not then opened a Paypal case, eBay could have forced your refund.

Also, it's against the rules to name and shame in these forums.

OP3 years agono I did not resolve it and no I did not say no names just look at feedback I said and yes I open a claim with PayPal after I sent back with tracking# PayPal kept my money and gave to said seller so they screwed me out of my 64,62

OP3 years agoAnd seller ever time he gets a neg feedback ebay takes it off feedback is for to let others know what kind of seller but ebay takes it off ever time cause this seller sells a lot and eBay makes a lot of money from him so they want him to stay happy even my neg feedback they took off this is not right
