I am trying to buy a car announced on marketplace fb, the seller says the payment has to be made thru ebays secure payment. because ebay has the car but I don't see it listed. is there a way to check if is a legit sell???

Ebay does NOT handle payments for transactions on other websites.
You are dealing with a criminal trying to steal your money. Report the ad to Facebook Marketplace.

Ebay has nothing to do with vehicles posted on other sites.
Report the ad to FB.

If the listing was found on fb marketplace, it is NOT a legit eBay sale. Trust me.
Afterthought... please help the next guy by reporting the bogus ad on the site where you found it.
