Searching for a collector’s item from sdcc 2009!
Just wondering if anyone is selling the littlest pet shop comic con cat for 3-500? bundle the hippo from the previous year maybe get the both of them for 500? any help is appreciated but pleaseee let me know, im getting desperate 😓

Last night I had other things going on and didn't have the time to do any searches. I did try a couple of searches this morning and the link below had the best number of exact returns of current listings for the cat.

Not knowing anything about LPS item values, I did an advanced search of sold/completed LPS cat listings. I had no idea of the prices the real ones fetch.

Those items may be listed on ebay but you haven't found any of them because of your search terms. Many of the exclusive Comic Con, comic or movie franchise collectibles are only licensed to be made by one or two Mfrs. So finding out and posting who the Mfr. is, can return better results. I'm not familiar with the Littlest Pet Shop characters but below is a sample search for an exclusive Comic Con line of Star War items I collect. Do not use SDCC in the search since many comic con collectibles are sold at comic cons held in different cities or states.
"Code 3, Star Wars, A New Hope, 3d resin movie poster, comic con collectible"
The search results for the above, do offer results for some of the other SW movie titles but there are many of that one listed.

OP1 year agoi think i understand, but the thing is these toys were only released twice in that time frame. a hippo in 08 and the cat in 09, with some newer ones this year, three blind box dragons last year and three blind box snakes this year, so when i try to be less specific hello kitty comes up😓

OP1 year agodesperate probably wasnt the right word, more like restless as this has been a dream since i was little. And yes while i would go out of my way to spend that much, i wouldnt like to. Id love to go closer to the original price but i highly doubt that’ll happen unfortunately 🤷â€â™€ï¸

OP1 year agoyep. i understand it being more expensive than other of the toys in the line, but i think this is excessive. Its really sought after and rare because it was made for comic con and its a popular mold in the community as well which is probably why the price is so much, still, excessive imo

·1 year agoBut you're willing to pay up to $500 for this toy? And will a child be allowed to play with it, or will it just sit on a shelf or in a trophy case? Not criticizing your choices, just wondering.

You may believe the price to be excessive, others evidently find it reasonable.

Chances of you finding one on this board is very slim as this board is a place for buyers and sellers to search for answers or ask questions about problems or issues one is having.
You are just going to have to keep watch on eBay and other online market places. I'm not sure about the "desperate" state you are feeling but you most likely will have to be very patient, waiting for one to show up.
