search sold items

I want to search the sold history of an item so I can get an idea of the price. How far back can I go? (And how?)

You can always go to Terapeak. Seller Hub/Research tab. Or this link... Terapeak Product Research - eBay Seller Hub ETA: You can filter to go back two years.

No. EBay doesn't retain full listings longer than that.

To view sold listings do a search for the item. When you get the results scroll down the filters on the left side to the Show Only category and select Sold items. You're able to see sold listings going back about 90 days.
