Scammer Concern
I just made a purchase from [Removed by mod]
As I wait for the delivery, I visit the product page again and see a note stating this person is a scammer. Then I go to the buyers page and see no history. I haven't been on eBay in years and even back then I made one purchase.
I obviously screwed up. Is there anything I can do?!?!

·5 months agoWhile you are awaiting the arrival of your purchase, may I respectfully suggest that you read, or re-read, eBay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers?

1. Yes there is legit tracking number with FedEx. Due tomorrow
2. His last reviews are from 2021. They were positive
3. There was only one comment under seller feedback a month ago saying "scammer don't buy"
4. When I go to buyers page it's totally blank. It's like he started over with no history.
I appreciate all the feedback. I will wait until delivery comes and take the correct recommended action necessary (if any). 🙏

Do you mean the seller got a negative feedback from an unhappy buyer?
How many feedback are there from happy buyers?

·5 months agoWhen you say you are waiting for delivery did the seller provide a tracking number to you? If yes then wait to see if the item actually does get delivered. Do not file an "item not received" case against them if tracking shows delivered. You may have to go through your payment source at that time. Not now though. Now if you did not receive a tracking number and nothing is in transit then wait 1 day after the estimated delivery date and file an "item not received" case against them. Then after 4 days go back and have Ebay step in for a refund.

If you think it won't come, prepare yourself to open an Item Not Received claim when (at least) one day has passed the Estimated Delivery Date on your Order.
If you think it won't be as advertised, prepare yourself to open a Not as Described claim after delivery.
