I will never buy anything from eBay again, after a bad experience . There seems to be a wide scam going on nationwide with supposed copies of The Natural Healing Handbook. is the second eBay seller who has sent me a little pamphlet instead of the handbook which they advertised. I have heard from others that multiple sellers are carrying out this same scam.
I'm simply never going to buy anything from eBay again. This wouldn't happen at Amazon. Amazon monitors its sellers better.

·3 weeks agoYes you are right even ebay give favour to sellers even they know seller sold counterfeit , I also face issue with two orders seller didn't respond t o my questions and also ebay can check item never deliver to me but ebay indian agents they always do favour to seller without checking the issue and buyer have proof

eBay has a Money Back Guarantee so that If you ordered two items and never received them, you need to file an "item not received" claim. The sellers will have to show that the items were delivered or refund your money. This also applies if you ordered items you believe are counterfeit; you have to file an "item not as described" claim and follow the directions to get your money back.
BTW, your profile shows you are in the USA but the verbage is in German so it's a little difficult to give you information as sometimes things are different for different countries. However, the Money Back Guarantee applies for all buyers.

·3 weeks agoYeah you are right .I open case and ebay give favour to seller , attempt delivery but not deliver and ebay wanna say attempt delivery equal to delivery .

·3 weeks agoYou need to find out from the shipping company what happened. But yes. a delivery attempt by the shipping company is considered by ebay to be a enough protect the seller.

I've had more problems with Amazon orders then I've had through Ebay.

When you buy something on eBay that is not as advertised, all you have to do is go to your purchase history and find the item and click on "return this item" and give the reason "not as described". The seller will have to send you a label to return the item and when they get it back, they have to refund your money. Either that or they can just refund your money without having you return the item. If they do not do this, on the 4th day, you can ask eBay to step in and they will force a refund from the seller.
eBay has a Money Back Guarantee that protects buyers from scoundrels like this. You can get mad and refuse to buy anything else from "eBay" (eBay doesn't sell anything, sellers do), or you can fight back with the tools that are available and yes, it can be a hassle but you don't lose your money.

OP3 weeks agoI never needed to return anything so thanks for the procedure. When I messaged with the seller, he told me to mail it back to him for a refund. He didn't offer to send me a return label. I don't have a car, so it would have been a 2 mile walk to the post office and 2 miles back in the blistering sun, plus the cost of postage. So you can understand my frustration.

·3 weeks agoIf you use the MBG, the seller has to pay return shipping.
Since that seller is from Pakistan, they would probably just refund without having it returned.
As far as no car, you could schedule a pick up from your house.

·3 weeks agoNever just mail anything back to a seller without going through the return procedures eBay has set up as you need to have tracking/proof of delivery/paper trail in case anything comes up. If you just mail something back without going through the return claim, the seller can claim non-receipt or refuse to acknowledge and you will have no proof otherwise and eBay won't help you.
USPS will pick up packages from you if you schedule a pick up. You don't have to take a package to the post office.
Just a couple of comments: when you buy something on eBay, look at the seller's feedback to see if they have any neutrals or negatives and if so, the reason for them, i.e. are there clues that the seller is misrepresenting items or where they are shipping from. Look at where the seller is located. In this case, if a seller is in another country, it can be a little more complicated with delivery times or if something needs to be returned.

Whenever someone says that they usually have a fundamental misunderstanding of what ebay is and does and are not aware of the MBG.

After reviewing the listing you are talking about it's not the actual item but a stock photo. That's a red flag immediately. You make the statement "This wouldn't happen at Amazon." When in reality it does and buyers return those items as well.
