I was charged sales tax on items that are exempt. Specifically, Silver bullion in Virginia. How do I get a refund?

Before purchasing coins or bullion, check the lower left corner of the Item Specifics box for the category they are listed in. If the Main category is Collectibles you may be taxed unless one of the sub categories is coins or bullion.

·1 month agoyou go to your state franchise tax board. What category was the bullion listed in? Wrong category listing like "collectable coins" triggers the tax on ebay.
