Roswell Gleason rotating tantalus liquor decanters
I am trying to locate a Roswell Gleason rotating tantalus with or without the decanters. This looks like a "Magic Castor" but with 5 doors. It holds 3 small decanters and the other two doors have hooks for liquor glasses. I will only purchase through Ebay. Thank you.

·1 year agoIf the decanters are included you may want to research whether the glass contains lead or not.
I have an old set, no carousel or anything that nice. Decanter with glasses with sailing ship/nautical motifs. Lead crystal. Safe enough to drink from I guess but I've been warned about storing liquor in them for long.
Just food for thought.....

·1 year agoI would do as mudshark suggests. Set up a saved search. Maybe a couple with different wording. That's worked for me in the past. In case they don't know how to describe it in their title.
I googled the item and the results were also as mudshark said. The ones in my Google search were from high end auctions.
Very nice item by the way. I may have to set up a saved search myself and hope the seller doesn't know what they have (sorry)............(not really LOL).

Finding one of those items on ebay may not be easy. Those are quite high end antiques that are usually found on better auction house site's. You can save a search on ebay using Roswell Gleason silver plate rotating Tantalus with Antiques as the category.

·1 year agoYou should do some searching on the net and see if toy can find the correct name for such items. Then with that, you can search on eBay. Many popular collectables have names that collectors go by to describe them. Knowing that will make the search go a lot better.
