Ripoff
How do I get EBay to get off their behinds and help me get my money back from bogus seller.
I am sick of this crap.
EBay is just another corporate septic tank.

·2 years agoEvery seller I who has provided me with a bad transaction on any site over decades had 100% FB. Often they still do after my bad transaction because I do not leave negative FB.
There might have been an exception during the early days of Ebay since retaliatory negative FB was commonplace.

EBay does not use Feedback to assess member accounts, buying or selling.
Bad feedback means two things to me.
That the buyer does not know how to use the MBG to get a refund.
That the seller probably also has Defects from MBG claims that were won by more savvy buyers.

·2 years agoSometimes it helps to read some feedbacks of a seller before making a purchase...one of your purchases from a seller had 938 negatives in a month.

·2 years agoThat's a bit of burying the lead LOL, I read this comment and couldn't believe it so I checked it out. Without naming the "seller", it's one of the (if not the only) famous addt'l insurance/warranty providers for 3rd party items on eBay. Reading just a handful of their negs and the negs weren't even about them or their services, it's about the 3rd party sellers of the actual items. All this seller sells is warranties. No wonder there are 938 negs in one month LOL

·2 years agoThe other two were also bad...LOL...where this buyer got positive feedbacks from sellers.

·2 years agoHow can that be, all the sellers the OP purchased items from in the past month are "Top Rated Sellers"?

·2 years agoI always go with someone with good feedbacks.
TRS means nothing to me...only to sellers.
Totally Risky Seller...

·2 years agoSame here, it doesn't matter to me if they are a TRS or TRS+, I look at the feedback they receive and what they leave for buyers.

·2 years agoSame old story..maybe the real problem is eBay for letting someone with 938 negative fb in a month to sell on their website..think hard..ðŸ§
kensgiftshop
·2 years agoIt is for the Square Trade warranty.
If you look at some of the negative feedback, it isn't for the warranty itself.

938 unhappy customers but-- how many happy customers?
Five?
Five Thousand?
Fifty thousand?
More important are the ratio of happy to unhappy, because some people cannot be made content.
And what those FBs say. Is there a pattern? One popular purchase has a high failure rate. The seller ships slowly or chooses a slow shipping service. The seller is rude and difficult to deal with about problems.
