Return shipping label help
I am returning an unwanted item. Per the seller terms, I paid the shipping. I did not use the ebay shipping label that was provided- I paid for one at UPS. I do not see any option to include my tracking info with the return and I don't see how to remove the ebay provided shipping label from the transaction. When I visit the "See Return Details" link, I see a QR code for USPS, or I can print or email the label. No other options.
How can I correct this?

OP1 week agoAppreciate the reply. ebay's shipping label that they sent included an estimated deduction to my seller credit, so I assumed I had to pay.
And ebay does say that you can pay for your own label and add the tracking info according to this link.

·1 week agoIt used to be easy to update the return tracking number, but now I think you have to contact CS and have them do it.

The seller's terms are trumped by ebay's Money Back Guarantee (MBG) terms, which states that if an item is damaged, not working, wrong item etc. the seller pays for the return shipping cost. That is why you were sent a return shipping label. Open the link below to see eBay's terms. There is no option to add your own tracking number, because you were supposed to use the one provided with the label by ebay, and you cannot remove the label from the page.
Messaging your seller with the tracking number you have, may help if the seller is honest. However, if they are a high volume one they may not see your message, and because ebay cannot see that you shipped the item within the time frame you were given, they may close the dispute you filed in the seller's favor.
