Return: Item does not fit, or not as described?
Summary: sukhakuli purchased a pair of shoes listed as EU size 39, but received a size 37. Despite providing photographic proof to the seller, the seller suggested returning the shoes under 'item does not fit', which raised concerns for sukhakuli. rokkworks advised choosing 'not as described' to avoid incurring return shipping charges, emphasizing the importance of uploading clear photos of the size label. sukhakuli appreciated the advice and planned to document everything carefully.
This is the first time I've had to return an item I've purchased.
I bought a pair of shoes. The listing said they were EU 39. When I got them and tried them on they were way too small. This is a brand that I have several other pairs of so I am familiar with the sizing. I checked the inside tag, and they are stamped EU 37. I messaged the seller, who said since they were too big for her, she thought they were 39. I sent her a pic of the label. She says she can't see it. I send a better pic of the label. She says, so what do you want me to do about it? I asked to return. She says when I choose the return option it should be item does not fit.
This gave me a pause, because I feel like it is "item not as described".
Which should I choose and why?

·3 weeks ago · EditedNo! Don’t listen to that seller. Choose “not as described” since you were supposed to receive size 39. If you choose “does not fit”, you will be charged for return shipping for something that is not your fault.

OP3 weeks agoThat's what I was wondering, thank you! She seemed too interested in what option to choose.

·3 weeks agoUpload your good, clear photos of the size label on the shoes, to add to the case, before you pack them up to ship back.
