Buyers can't cancel an order. They can only request a cancellation and the seller would have to be the one to cancel.
If the seller actually canceled it, you would have received an automatic refund if you'd already paid. What does it show on the listing or on your purchase page?
Did they relist? Are you able to repurchase? Some sellers will block a buyer who requested a cancellation but others may allow them to rebuy.
How about returning and giving more details? You purchased an item, but the listing was incorrect? The only one who can actually cancel is the seller. Did you request that the seller cancel? If the seller did cancel, per your request, the item should now be available for you to purchase.
If the seller accepted your cancel request, then the order is cancelled if you received a email from ebay confirming the cancellation.
(NOTE) sellers are not required to cancel orders but they can cancel at their discretion. Contacting eBay will not help as eBay will not cancel an order.
If there was only a quantity of 1 available in the listing, the seller may have to re-enter the quantity in the listing in order for another purchase to be made.
Contact the seller to verify when/if the item can be repurchased.
Make sure to enter the correct address when checking out, (right before you pay)
